So first of all we got Songs of the Savants: The First Movement by Dale Corson. Every once in a while I finish reading a book so I can make some fun of it. This one, well, isn't quite like that. It did have a good feature or two, like the cheerful and helpful giant robot spider who entirely stole the show whenever it scriggled on stage.

So do you finish more than 80% of books you start? Do some books you start but don't finish rate more highly than ones you finished? I am curious!

Hm. I probably finish half the books I start: I often toss free ebooks in the first few pages. Sometimes 'cause of quality, but sometimes 'cause they don't meet my mood. Sometimes books I expect are quite good ("Emma", say) don't meet my mood: I'd probably rate it highly if I read it.

Picked up Backworlds. Also got that Loki thing from the other week, and I previously got the first Trang and ended up gobbling up the whole series lickety-split. Thanks for these!
