BUT IT IS ADORABLE, OKAY :| bard_of_orlais October 14 2010, 02:35:13 UTC
Is that so? That's very interesting; I didn't realize that losing your memory was a side effect of the droning process.

Not always! I had one friend leave an' come back, an' he remembered bein' here. But I got another who did the same, but doesn't remember it. Talk about a bummer.

I don't understand why she finds them so cute, either. bard_of_orlais October 14 2010, 03:01:35 UTC
How very odd.

Is there any kind of pattern? Or is it just chance whether you remember or not?

That squeaking noise; it sounds so familiar -

Oh, no.

And what is that supposed to mean, Zevran?

You surely couldn't have expected Schmooples to survive back home without me. I think it was very kind of the town to bring him here.

Ah, yes, very kind. One hesitates to think of what would happen if Oghren got ahold of him.

The constant squeaking can simply become rather...grating.

Exactly. [If you were being facetious, Zevran, she's either missed it completely or is choosing to ignore it.]

It isn't so bad. He just squeaks because he's happy. He missed me. ♥

What noise? The squeaking?

Oh, that's Schmooples. The town saw fit to give him back to me the other day. And good thing, too; he missed me.

[There's a bit of a giggle as the nug sniffs at her feet.]

Not to be rude, but what's a Schmooples?

[Leliana doesn't find the question rude at all!]

Schmooples is his name. He's a subterranean bunny-pig from back home; I think they're called nugs?

I got droned for a few months earlier this year... so did my "daughter" here. It doesn't seem like it's very common, though.

...Eh? Hey, what's that noise? [Someone's cute senses are tingling...]

A rare occurrence that happened twice in the same family? I wonder if it is no coincidence...

That's Schmooples in the background. I got him back the other day. You should see him; he's absolutely adorable.

Well, we weren't in the same family before we were droned -- but we both snapped out of it at the same time. When we woke up that morning, poof, we were in the same house all of a sudden! Pretty weird~

Schmooples, huh? He sure sounds cute~!

How very strange! Well, I suppose it would be rude of me to say that it is better to be here, but at least you are not a mindless body.

He is! You are welcome to come see him, if you'd like. My name is Leliana--I live at 1764 Beaver Street.

[She thinks that's right. These address things confound her.]
