After a weekend filled with potential fun, I come back unrefreshed with more frustration than smiles. My primary source of frustration has to be the deeper one. The one that has smoldered for a long time, and I'm simply tired of it. And that is the societal norms that americans hold themselves to for no good reason whatever

In a perfect world, distance and time wouldn't inhibit one's ability to converse. Cell phones are an early way to bridge that gap, but they are limited and expensive. Eventually, we will move away from the need to experience space as we know it, to travel. The necessity of travel will evaporate. Then, we can experience it again for what it is, maybe- a beautiful world in it's own right. Or, you know, more likely, we'll just be that much more annoying.
