2 and 5?

I've always been a bit concerned about the common admonition to eat "a wide variety of fruit and vegetables" because I often eat very similar meals day after day, for example I make exactly the same salad every day as part of my lunch. That's a really impressive list. I have to try it:

Breakfast:
Broccoli
Carrot
Celery
Lemon juice
Orange juice

Snacks:
Cherries
Pear
Apple

Lunch:
Zucchini
Garlic
Onion

Dinner:
Spinach (lots of)
Various kinds of bagged lettuce (lots of)
Carrot again
Tomatoes
Avocado
Capsicum
Peas

I think I cheated with my breakfast. I usually have my porridge with bananas and blueberries but my supermarket was out of frozen blueberries so instead I got a 4 berry mixture.

bread and vegemite = food of the gods

I've heard the British eat lots of vegetables, as long as they can count crisps. (Full disclosure: I ate crisps today).
