This is a new technique for me; it's something I've had in mind for a while, but I just got the wire today. It puts me in mind of Madame Sprout and the greenhouses at Hogwarts; it's the ort of thing I can see Neville giving to Luna someday ('cause now even JKR's changed her mind and admitted there might be something there ;-) Only if Neville made

That is just lovely! What kind of wire did you use, if I may ask?

Ummm.... green. No, sorry, but I bought it at a jewelry/bead show (not a great one) and it doesn't say anything on the spool. It's just cheap craft wire, a very small gauge. I'd guess 26 or finer - hard enough to hold a shape, soft enough to twist with my fingers. Anyway, nothing special. I've seen better wire in the past (the coating on this came off if I was too rough with it, unfortunately) but I'm not near any good stores at the moment.

Oh it's so pretty! I think the wire is very nice. I thought I was looking at green seed beads, but I like the wire even better.

Are the charms all glass? Some of the leaves look like aventurine to me.

Looking close up I think they're just glass, though I won't swear to it. The blue and pink flowers in front are probably made from clay.
