Over the last few weeks, I have heard (read) posts from people who think the Harry Potter fandom, the SS/HG side of it in particular are coming to an end. Thanks for a word of hope. For my own part, real life has become busy and maybe is leading me in a slightly different direction, and I just don't have as much time for myself as I used to. But you're right--given time, that could change again. I do miss seeing my friends here, though.

I think right now the fandom is in flux. Many people are moving away from it, but some amazing authors and artists are also putting out their best and most inspired work. A lot of the crap that came down at Promptfest left me feeling jaded and frustrated, but it didn't quell my love for SSHG. I'm taking a break, but I will be back - I love SSHG too much to ever abandon it, I think. But I also know I'm a little burned out and need to step away and recharge.
