get out of the house. get away from the computer. go to the gym - walk - bike - run - whatever.
first, it'll take your mind off the situation. second, it'll help you lose weight. third, it'll help you focus on yourself and that is most important. it makes you feel good about yourself because you are productive, it clears your head, it makes you pay attention to what you eat, it makes you realize that you are important independent of anyone else's opinion, it helps you sleep, it helps you study. yes, exercise does all of that.
you are in a university, they have a free gym, they have free/very inexpensive aerobics classes. go and do it. right now. for yourself. trust me.
