Fantastic! He should live the way he feels most comfortable. Though it's probably not comfortable having the whole world know.

No kidding, it must be challenging enough of a transition but to do it in the public eye?

I have a few friends who have transitioned, one I met post transition, and the other is on T, but has not had any surgeries. It's tough for them, but I can't imagine being watched, and having it in the news.
