Looking Back...and Looking Forward...

This has been one hell of a year for me so far. 

• I was engaged, then I wasn't. 
• I was stuck in a crappy-ass job, and now I love even THINKING about going to work...practically salivating when I think of the possibility of overtime. 
• I didn't know ASL from AOL, and now I can carry on decent conversations with some of the local Deaf folk if I wish.

Jo,

You didn't have to do this in your journal. We are very happy that we were able to help you out. I know that if we were ever in the situation we would be there for you in a heartbeat.

You are a very strong woman and now we just need to make you a little more independent. You have made a huge change in the short amount of time we have known you and we are proud to be not just your friends but part of your huge family that just got bigger.

You have a long road coming your way, but we know you can do it. We are here for you whenever and if there is anything we can do to make your stay with us better, then let us know.
