I was surprised by the inclusion of 'The DaVinci Code' and the exclusion of anything by Kate Chopin or Shirley Jackson. 'The DaVinci Code' was entertaining, but as Candace warned me, I had it all worked out during the exposition, so mostly was fast. At the end of it, I thought 'groan'. :D

In other news, I'm pages away from finishing 'Contact' (Carl Sagan). It's fantastically better than the film.

i actually have a shirley jackson book i've never read, bought at half-price books YEARS ago. i think it's we've always lived in the castle. bought it for the cover-art & it sounded interesting. have to read tho. too much else i'm trying to read right now.

i'm surprised there's no EA Poe on the list...or more controversial books. Boring summmbitches.

Yes I would like option D. I've seen the movie and E. I've seen the play. Then I would have a lot more highlighted!

It took me a few days to recall that I actually had read 'Moby Dick' - I thought I'd merely seen the film. Now I doubt I've seen the (entire) film.
