Wish I could have made it home today, instead of sitting at my desk, lost in thought and prayer, staging a private funeral for one of the strongest women I've ever known.

I've taken two showers in the last fourteen hours, washed everything that remotely came into contact with my soaked body last night/this morning (twice, including a down jacket, a pair of gloves covered in Diet Pepsi and Mentos residue, and a bra that didn't see daylight but wound up drenched anyway), and something in this room STILL smells like ( Read more... )

After two weeks of drowning in German, I'm trying to figure out if it would help to take all of my notes/make all my flashcards for the next chapter now, and keep reviewing them and the stuff from the last two chapters over the course of the week.
