Ah yes, Maine. I know someone who lives in Maine and she refers to Spring as the mud season too. XD

Here in the Chicagoland area the weather's been very cooperative this past week. I just haven't taken any extended hikes yet, just around the neighborhood on the sidewalks and grassy areas. And yes, it definitely was refreshing to feel something besides carpet beneath my soles.

Tennessee here. Although I go barefoot as I can year round I find that I go out far less in the winter ::grin::

It has been wonderful recently though :) I am even leaving my work shoes in the truck when I get home to enjoy the short walk to my door with my feet wonderfully in contact with the ground.

I live in Utah. Snow country. And unpredictable snow storms. It's been great weather here, too. I've gotten down to wearing one layer of socks instead of two or three. I'd say that if this keeps up, I'll get to wear no shoes in a few weeks, but I think it's going to snow this weekend. I did have barefeet yesterday, though.

Hey, I live in Utah too! I haven't heard about snow this weekend, I thought it was just gonna be rain.

That could very well be true. I don't watch the weather forecasts too often, so the prediction I saw could have very well changed.

Oh no, you're right. Looks like it might be rain turning into snow. :/
