yeah on Lost - Locke tries to hang himself. A very close and dear friend of mine from HS named Nick hanged himself while I was a freshmen in college (he was a HS junior). The way they showed it in Lost was very realistic, in terms of how Locke sets himself up and it really got to me. :(
