Kind of browsing computers. What's a brand that everyone likes? I'm kind of thinking of getting a new laptop. With starting the nursing program in the fall (hopefully.. stupid college), I think a new laptop would be a good decision. Or, maybe a new desktop. Either way. Well, I guess for the desktop, I could build it myself. I don't know

Do yourself a favor, join the masses and get a Dell. I recommend their Dell outlet site:

Once you know what you want (desktop/notebook) you can search for that and choose from a bunch of certified systems that have been returned for whatever reason (changed their mind, couldn't afford it, wanted a different systems, etc). They all come with the same warranty, support, look brand new, and tend to be about 25-40% cheaper then buying a configured new system from them. I've bought two systems through there and have not been disappointed. The only gotcha is that you have to choose from the stock that has been returned, you can't customize it. But they have so much stock, unless you're very particular with specs, you'll find it no problem.
