So, we were lucky enough to have two weeks off of school for Spring Break. City schools still do two weeks. And this year, unlike last year, our two weeks off were the same. So, we decided to go away the first week and do home improvements the second week.

First of all, I'm glad to read your account of Hershey because thats where we are planning our next family trip! I will definitely consider the crayola factory. That sounds very cool. Anyway, I only buy Hershey chocolate (because we boycott Nestle) and its so cool to know that the money helps fund a school! That makes me feel even better about my loyalties! And the Penney's we went to was on Peach Street in Erie. Take a trip on a weekend since its only about 1.5 hr drive and tax free on clothing. But you have to go at the right times of the year to get the huge discounts!

When is the right time of year? We love Penny's. Does it have a lot of Penny's clothing, because the one we went to...it wasn't even Penny's clothes.

I would totally consider The Crayola Factory. It's a lot of fun and I'm sure the kids will have a blast.

If you do Hershey, plan for 2-3 days there. We only did the Chocolate World, and that took us 4-5 hours. We didn't even do the Amusement Park, Flower Garden, Zoo, and Museum. And just a heads up, strollers aren't allowed in Chocolate World or the museum, and children under 4 aren't allowed in the museum. And while the two Hershey hotels (associated with Hershey Park) are very nice, I think they are a bit pricey. You might be better off just getting a hotel a few miles away (but not an hour away like us LOL). But it's a blast--and your talking to a Disney freak!!
