Character Name: Sherlock Holmes
Series: Sherlock Holmes (Granada series)
Fourth Wall?: Yes, but only so far as the original Conan Doyle stories.
Restrictions: The books are certainly all fair game, however I'd rather not details about the Granada series be brought up--things like actors' names and air dates--or for there to be extensive discussions regarding the few places the series differs from the original stories. Basically it will be played that the Granada series is what actually happened, where the Conan Doyle writings were what Watson penned.
Additional Notes: The biggest difference between the Granada series and the books was that Watson never married, and Mary Morstan stayed merely a client. Should the subject of Watson's marriage(s) be brought up, Holmes will state or imply that Watson invented a wife as part of his lurid embellishments ( ... )
