Yesterday at work a women in her 40's comes up to me and asks for two books on her kids, 15 and 16, summer reading list. Since we didn't have 'I know Why the Caged Bird Sings' or 'A Raisin in the Sun' I decided to pick the least likely to piss off children. At least those people know what it is. Also I'd probably have been able to reply in a better fashion. Although, "Your beliefs offend me get the fuck out of my store", isn't necessarily better.
