After all the drama, all the chaos, tonight I talk to my DM about my current store, and tonight I get my first schedule for my new store transfer

I just transferred too, but I got promoted to shift and had to move stores. I definitely know what you mean by the mixed bag feelings. I loved my coworkers to death, and we had some great regulars. But I really disliked my sm and wasn't going anywhere even tho he started promising to train me for shift at my one year mark. My new store is not as clean as I am used to (my old store got 100% on QASA my first year and 99.9 my second) and it's not completely up to standard. The plus side of this is I feel I have a lot to contribute to the store and like I can really make a difference here. The partners are all pretty nice, but there is internal drama (two of them had a blow up at the register today during a rush) which I am not used to. I think every store has it's ups and downs and it more or less comes down to what you can tolerate and what you can change. I really hope this new store suits you well and that things only get better. :)

I'm right there with ya. I'm supposed to be transferring after holidays for a slew of reasons, one of which has me on the fence big time. I know it's what I need but I haven't decided yet if it's what I want. There is so much I'll miss at my old store, and so much I'll be happy to leave behind.

So... together, into the unknown!! :]
