I know it just seems like I posted to announce that I had my interview, then actually got the job, but today was my last day at Starbucks. My job was officially for only the Christmas season and would be renewed if they had enough hours to keep me going. Sadly, there weren't enough hours to renew the contract

Now, I'm used to praline, in the US, being a slightly crunchy caramelly thing made with brown sugar, butter and water, and with whole or chopped pecans put in (but often left out). In the UK, praline is, essentially, hazelnut butter mixed with chocolate.
I must admit, I was disappointed. I love US style pralines.
