My SM is going, and I can't wait for him to get back because then he says he'll finally finish my training. (This is my third week with Starbucks but due to understaffing, I've been on register almost exclusively.) Have fun in Houston!

I'm envious. I'd be all over trying to get involved if it was local to me. How did you get selected/involved? Have a blast :)

My SM approached me and asked me if I would like to go :) It really is a great opportunity. As a non-SM partner though, we are only allowed to go to the closing :/ but I got to reconnect with partners from old stores and meet a lot of great people on all levels of Starbucks today at the 'dry run' for the huge coffee tasting; cant wait to see who I get to meet tomorrow!
