Posting this here so I don't lose it.
This was the challenge from
sga_flashfic two weeks ago.
The challenge word was blood.
I'm not big on warnings that spoil plot so just beware that this is very dark and disturbing - not my normal fic. Don't say I didn't warn you...

I think I read too much Stephen King as a child.
Apparently my subconscious was working out all of my recent stress.
;-)
I promise nothing but fluffy smutty bunnies from here on out.

(Seriously, this was good dark stuff. Unpleasantly excellent.)

Scary as it is I need to know what happens next. What happens to Ford? How did they manage to escape?

Yep, I'm afraid so. :-(
What happens to Ford?
He survives but he is blind, so there's a big adjustment for him, naturally. And I'm thinking he'll have a lot of post-traumatic stress, you know?
How did they manage to escape?
They were actually let go. Apparently this was their captors idead of a "little warning". Not nice people. (And please don't ask who *exactly* the captors were because my back story doesn't go inot quite that much detail. *g*)
Or, you could take everything in this story after John hits his head as some sort of concussion-induced nightmare that never really happens. And imagine how relieved John would be to see Rodney and Ford - maybe a little worse for wear but not captured and tortured.
