Well, I wrote this fic for a challenge that I thought ended today but apparently ends September 18th. Oh well, it's not like I'll have more time to work on it later. Thanks and big smooches to sweeneybird for making time for me and for making the ending work.

Oh, this is so marvelous! I loved it. They're both so cute here, and so wonderfully in character. I love how John just gives in, how he can't resist Rodney. And:

“Secret military stealth technology.”

LOL! Great line. Slips right in under the gaydar. *g*

Whew, you think they're in character! That's always what I fret the most about, frankly. I'm always afraid I'm crossing the line into "chick speak". :^)

This is lovely on so many levels. It's funny and well-characterised and bittersweet.

Loved this : “You’ll live.” Rodney said and then looked vaguely horrified.

John moved his hand back up to Rodney’s cheek. “Yeah, I will. Thank you.” because it just seemed so appropriate that Rodney would say something like this and hear himself say it and react like this.

I'm glad you think the characterization is working. It's never a struggle for me to write the boys in snark mode - but trying to get it right when they're not snarking is something else entirely. Thank you for commenting and I'm glad you liked it!

Whee! This was so cute.

I really enjoyed this. I loved how well you worked cute, funny and slightly geeky together with angst and seriousness. There was much banter and flirting, and then suddenly there was Rodney's anguish as he remembered John lying dead beside him. The characterisation was wonderful.

It was frightening how easily Rodney could peel back John’s façade and reveal him.

Yay! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Nothing makes me happier than being able to make other people happy. I used to do this through food but this way our figures don't suffer. :->
