That is an awesome metaphor for how vulnerable I think Dean feels, especially against other psychics. This is exactly what I'm afraid of happening and you captured Dean's fear and anger so perfectly. I do think he's a good soldier, I just don't know if he'd be able to do it since Sam is his world. Of course, if he did do it, I think he'd soon follow Sam. Gah. Angst, man. You have given me woobie!Dean and it is so good.

Yeah, I have this fear that either John *did* or Sam *will* ask him to promise to take Sam out if he goes "dark side". And that would just ruin Dean - but if the alternative is letting Sam run amok? I just don't know what choice Dean would have. Dude. My chest hurts just thinking about it.

In other news, I promise (really!) to have the SGA fic up tomorrow-ish. And I'm working on a plotless Knife!Kink SPN fic that I hope to get done by the weekend. So, I'll try to keep you happy as you slave away...

I really like this. I have been one with the angst lately, things like this help me learn how to make it mine. In a good way. Is there a good way to angst? Dude.
