A friend of mine back in high school had the whole breaking/resetting/wiring shut of the jaw thing done (her bite was skewed sidways very badly, and she was never comfortable physically, or happy with her appearance). I remember hanging out with her during the whole wired shut phase, watching her eat lunch through a straw, heh. She was SO much happier after everything.

Side note: she looked like a totally different person afterwards! I see pictures of her now and it still takes me a moment to recognize her.

OUCH! They are doing the jaw and the nose all in one shot?

yep!-- but the turbinate reduction is a simple outpatient procedure, so it won't be tht big of a deal.

Can you get the wires to spell out "bad mofo?" I always wanted to get a tattoo of that on my knuckles but I have too many fingers.

Good luck, Kat.
