Hi all, this is fullygoldy  posting for our B, because he's a little too stressed/tired/pained/what-have-you to post himself.

This is the thing, we spent another 4 hrs at the hospital today.  The general consensus is that he may still have a kidney stone (or multiples thereof) floating around, and he's going to get a special scan on Thursday to confirm.  This

Don't know if it's manageable, since my primary focus lately is a major basement remodel, including adding kitchen and bath, when I'm not working. I haven't been there since before you guys did the kitchen work, so I'd love to have seeing that as an excuse to stop in for a bit. But... it would be an evening thing, and it sounds like you're specifically saying daytime hours. (?)

One question I'd have is whether he likes old movies... as in from black and white days. I've got a set of comedy classics with names like Laurel and Hardy, Fatty Arbuckle, Buster Keaton, Li'l Abner, Jimmy Durante, Mickey Rooney; and one called Historic classics, including David Copperfield, Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court, Oliver Twist, Cyrano De Bergerac, and such... total of 100 movies. If he wants the set for the duration, he'd be welcome to use that as a distraction, whether he has company or not.

well, daytime is mostly when he's alone, unless I'm working at home. The first week of Nov, I won't be home at all, so evenings will require distraction too.

As far as old movies go, if they're "war movies" he might like them, otherwise, he probably isn't interested. Plus, he's having some vision problems which make watching something he isn't truly interested in an exercise in futility and pain.

mmm... probably not then. I do have an old vhs set of my dad's that is mostly WW2 historical films.

So what does he like to do or capable of doing, or not, otherwise? Cooking or eating... any restrictions, likes, hates? Any kind of work around the house or yard that people could offer to help out with? Cuddle Party? Just sit around and shoot the bull?

I haven't been following real closely... are kids there in the evening? You didn't mention them either way in your note. Would he get caught up in getting house and/or kids ready for Halloween?

I'll call. What's a good time? I have afternoons the first werek of Nov, starting round 2. Next week, tueasday and thursday all day. If I don't hear a good time I'll guess. :)

I don't know if B got the message to you, but I'll be there tomorrow around noon (at his request) and stay until someone gets home. I'll be there on Friday too, if necessary.

As for the week you are in LV, I can take three days. I have PT on Wednesday and Friday, but only for an hour, so I'd be gone for two hours. Pick the days you would like me to be there, whatever works best for you.
