[Barnaby's chosen to use audio as opposed to video today, mainly so that no-one will see how worn-down he looks. He hasn't been able to get quite as much sleep as he needs for a very particular reason: Kotetsu Kaburagi's gone, and he's been out searching for him.

While I'd like to believe he's home safe, I'm going to continue searching for him. I would rather be safe than sorry.

Hmm.. [ Takano is quiet for a few moments after that hum, as if she's considering something. Her voice is awfully calm for the situation. ]

Do you perhaps know whether his possessions vanished as well? Usually when people are sent back home their possessions from back home disappear along with them.

What sort of possessions would Kotetsu have, anyway? He didn't know what to look for.]

I don't know. He's not the sort of person to have much to begin with, so it's hard to tell.

Ah, but there was nothing at all left in his croft, then? Because if there was something left, you'd at least know he is still around here somewhere in Demeleier, right?

His croft was empty... So it's possible he's returned home.

[He hadn't spoken to him much, but he knew who Kotetsu was. This comes as a surprise, and, frowning, he replies - like Barnaby, the calm is layered over something more urgent.]

I'll let all Watch members know, and I'll try and find him, too. He's not the type to wander off, is he?

[But in Demeleier, that doesn't have to matter - ]

- did he wear the rowan crown, or keep it with him?

He would at least say something. Though he can be reckless, he's not entirely stupid.

He likely had the crown with him.

In that case, it's less likely that the fae would have been able to lure him away. I don't want to rule it out - it can happen regardless, especially if he's not the type to just go like that.
