Chad woke me up at 1 a.m. this morning and said his eyes were so painful he couldn't stand it. His eyes were so red and teary, so I took him into the ER and they saw him right away (a miracle). He had scratched corneas in both eyes. We don't know how he did it, except last night he helped carry a dusty old sink and maybe something flew up into ( Read more... )

I heard a comment in reference to Loretta Scott King at the death of Martin Luther King. It summed up for me Trevor's and Abe's mothers in their loss. "She wore her grief with grace".

Thank you. He IS a great kid. And thanks about the icon. I didn't know I could do it until I started experimenting. Too much time on my hands! :)

i'm sorry about your son's eyes. how is he now? (how'd he do on the test?)
that is just heartbreaking about the other boy. so scary what can happen.....it makes me wish i could just lock my kids up sometimes.
