Strange Things Kids Do

It's Sunday morning and I'm helping with the chores, when my seven year old daughter asks if she can help. I think that's very cool to myself and say "Sure". She gets the scrub brush and starts cleaning the toilet. I handle the chemicals. She  actually likes cleaning the toilet. She gets upset if you clean it without asking her first. I'm not sure

Yeah, N used to love cleaning the bathroom. She would refuse to do any other chore, including even picking up her room in the slightest, but the bathroom, that was immaculate.

I still love cleaning the bathroom, especially the toilet. I'm not sure why, but as far as I can remember, I always have.

I started making breakfast when I was in middle school, as a plot to get a specific present (a watch) from my parents. Three years later, I realized I was still doing it, and in fact, no one else in the family had made breakfast in all that time (unless I wasn't home).

Sigh.

I also did the vacuuming, but I never did the bathrooms if I could avoid it.
