This was such a great one-shot! First of all, this scene was so needed. Because Ian Brennan totally got our hopes up with Will's line, and then poof. Fun gone. Second, I really loved how Will acknowledged that Rachel was special. Because she so is.

I think this was in-character, and so, so the way this scene should have gone. And the kiss on the cheek? Perfect amount of contact between them--it felt very natural.

aghh! hahaha when I watched the "Rachel's special" episode I couldn't believe what was happening. A real live Will/Rachel -ish moment on the show?! I literally called my best friend during the commercial break to be like "DID YOU SEE THAT?!" LOL. (It's not a secret that they're my OTP :P)
Anyways, I remembered like, now, that I read part of your fic but got interrupted and never finished or commented so here we go :) I really enjoyed this one, and not just because it was Will/Rachel ( I love them all ) but because it's so unexpected and realistic, which I always like. Awesome job :)
