Yeah, I can totally see that. All about the image stuff going on and finding out that there was, finally, nothing much behind it.
I don't even have a problem with the emerald brooch symbol traveling through time and connecting the birth of Glam's image/style/performance ethos to Oscar Wilde.
It's just that Curt Wild is so very, VERY Kurt Cobain that I'm wondering what they're getting at with him. He just seems kind of in-the-wrong-time. I can't see what role/archetype of the era he was trying to represent. Am I missing something? Is he actually supposed to be Jim Morrison-esqe?
Oh drat. Very minimal internets-checking tells me Curt Wild is standing in for Iggy Pop. I forgot about Iggy Pop. OK, I'm clear now.
