Miles drinks about 5 bottles a day. Mostly at night, some babies sleep through the night and miles sure doesn't. so that might make a difference. but even with three full meals a day, he still needs milk. some babies are just super hungry. so if xander doesnt meet that, dont worry. boys are usually bottomless pits.
for awhile xander wouldnt sleep through the night for shit so i started taking him a bath at around 8 with his sleepy time bath stuff and then give him a big dinner and he falls asleep at like 9:30 and hes out all night but lately hes been waking up and the dr said that he should be sleeping through the night and that when he wakes up in the middle of the night to try not to give a bottle and that he probably just needs to be comforted back to sleep and if you have to just let him cry it out (Cause all of that that is so easy!)
well the thing is miles doesnt sleep in his crib. and with our ONE bedroom apartment, i never get/got a chance to let him cry it out, ever! so of course he relies on that nightly bottle, or 2. but i honestly think he is starving after four hours of sleep with nothing in his little belly. babies naturally wake up every 3 hours, or almost wake up. and then miles for example, is like "hey! i'm hungry!" and a bottle is the only thing he wants, not comfort. i dunno, i think some doctors have different experiences with their own children, so i kinda go by babies in general and other parent's experiences. my grandma told me that not ONE of her four children ever slept through the night their first year. so i don't feel too bad
