I did decide though taht Im going to get some sort of tattoo... not tacky but something sort of rememberence tattoo in honor of him. That is important to me. I know just how you feel. We went through that with my wifes dog just two years back. Until then I had never realized how much impact they can have on your life. Of course, you have that same impact on theirs as well. He knows how much you love him and that's the most important thing.

it is like losing a child. he's my baby and on Friday we have to do it. hes going downhill and i dont wanna see him to a point that hes really gasping for air. siigh. my poor baby.

Oh Jill, I'm so sorry. I know how much Harley means to you. I think the tattoo is a good idea, maybe make a print of his paw in ink and then have that tattooed on you?

Yeah im gonna do something like that or find someone that can actually do well with shading and try to get a good black lab design. He died today in my arms. We had to put him down. He could barely breath. It's the worst thing ive ever gone thru. =(
