Good to see another gothy-sort firmly in the Fanilow camp (I peeked at your profile--apop, siouxsie, murphy clued me in). I, too, get the "you're kidding, right" comments from people when I reveal my love for Barry. Nope, not kidding! Reeeeeally love Barry! Not even in that obnoxious, kitschy, I'm-so-cool-I-can-even-like-uncool-things way, either. He's just kickass. End of story.

And yes, you MUST make the Vegas pilgrimage. I've seen him there a couple of times, and he's out-frickin-standing.

Heh! Yeah, when I was 18-19 I was pretty hardcore goth -- going to clubs 4 nights a week, etc. Not so goth anymore, but I still love the music ( ... )

Travel costs from anywhere to LV is rather pricey these days. I haven't seen him live either. So I just watch the DVD's in the dark, hold up a lighter and rock from side to side during the ballads.. and dance and sing along during Copacabana.. and applaud.

So which rare tracks did you find? Did you happen to hear all the vault songs on the website.. I have to say, they are fantastic!
