So, due to some restructuring of the OMIS (my major) curriculum, it looks like I'm going to have to stay here until Winter '07 (3 more semesters). I want to get the heck out of Dekalb, but thanks to changes in the courses I have to take and how their pre-reqs work, I'm stuck. I talked to the OMIS student advisor and she is going to "plead my case

what classes are you taking? I'm in:
OOMIS340T, OMIS460, OMIS462, OMIS452, and EPFE201

what class couldn't you get into because of restructuring?

from what i hear, OMIS352 is supposed to be a lot more computer based than the class it is replacing, OMIS327. is that the class you are getting hung up on?

Uh, usually students are held to the graduation requirements published when you start a program.

I switched into it midway through a year, so they're holding me as not starting it that year.
