Tonight  had a definite downside to it.

I joined some friends to see Jurassic Park in Fullerton.  It was Jirard and Veronica, Zan and Stacy, Theo and Christina, Becky and Ryan... and me.  
Anywhere I went I would be the third wheel.  
Everywhere I looked: a couple.

What am I doing wrong?  Why am I not with a girl?  Why am I stuck playing these fucking

Advice from the Elder

One thing I think I've figured out in my 25 years of life is that we men are expected to approach girls and not wait around for them to come to us. How one approaches a girl, I'm still working on, but will let you know as soon as I figure it out.

It's a really shitty system. You can be the most awesome guy in the world (i.e. me) and girls still won't necessarily come to you, whereas a douchebag will just walk up to an attractive female and five minutes later be jamming his tongue down her throat.

Of course, I don't know what the hell I'm talking about, so take this all with a grain of salt.

I think it's one of those things where you shouldn't look for it or tripp over it. It's cliche' but it only happens when it's unexpected! And a turn off for a girl is a guy who is stressing over it and always wondering "whats wrong with me??" We can sense it and maybe that's the problem.

Don't worry. You're a great catch, Barryte! You'll find someone close to perfect soon enough.
