Well, so much for suspense. I got the job today with no second interview required. Doesn't quite feel real. She said she'd like me out there in a few days, but understands if it takes me a little time to wrap things up here. This is completely crazy...

thanks! i'm vacillating between excitement and panic. i'll probably be writing on here a lot more when i get there- i will be in the middle of iowa afterall. although i hear the work is "14 hours a day, 7 days a week". i hope this is an exaggeration, at least until a few weeks before the caucus.
