I just took a mountain bike to A/C Rock and back and to the lake dam and back. My legs are jelly. The trails aren't bad. I'm just out of shape. Yesterday I picked up a Schwinn bike at Target for $124. They're on sale through tomorrow. In a bit, I'm going to take the bike back out and try to destroy it (a la junior high male camper). If it holds up ( Read more... )

Again, so sorry about Quincy. My prayers have been with you and Shannon.

BTW: How 'bout "Baby Aerosmith", "Baby Van Halen" and "Baby ZZ Top" ? Noah loves Stephen Tyler, likes old Van Halen and thinks Billy Gibbons is the coolest.

If you check the sides of the isles in Walmart, there are actually CDs with lullaby versions of classic rock songs. I remember seeing them a few months ago .

So I did some investigating and you and John are in luck. Check out Walmart.com where you can order:Rockabye Baby! Ramones.

There were 19 different Rockabye Baby! Lullaby albums. Everything from U2, the Beatles, Coldplay, to country albums and Jars of Clay.

Thanks for the comment and the care.

I read from Job today. You know how Job found comfort once God came to him and just really let him have it over the issue of him being a human who couldn't fully comprehend how God manages the universe? Job found comfort in knowing God's plan was beyond human understanding. I dig that. If heaven is heaven, then it is heavenly. I will trust God's idea of what I need in this world and the one beyond. Either there are animals in heaven or it is even better than that.

Keep your percussion gear if you go to a first church. They'll need it too.

get a pellet gun, that way you don't have to kill the suckers, but they'll probably remember to stay away from your property with some well placed shots to the rear end....with a baby on the way, I'd say that takes precedent over "kindness to animals". It sounds like these dogs are untrained, wild, aggressive and have already killed one other animal that you know of....

stay safe

Thanks Tim. We'll be safe and err on the side of caution. You be safe too, I hear the ATL can be rough for high rollers like yourself. ;)
