I took JD shopping last night to Academy Sports and Outdoors. We bought ammo. It was very sweet.

My neighbor says we have a wild boar (read: feral pig) roaming around our properties. She told me that it came after her daughter's boyfriend and their puppy around 2 am, when he let the dog out to potty. He claimed it weighs about 300 pounds.

Beach and Football

Back at work after a couple of days on the coast. Three day/two night vacations don't cut it. Next year, we're taking a full week. I don't know how, but we will. JD is a lady-killer - he flirted with the waitresses at Sea-N-Suds. We'll have to keep him on a short leash once he's a teenager going to the beach.

Josh and Mama Shirley

Shannon's uncle died, her mom's brother. He'd been suffering from cancer and lived long enough to see his daughter get married. Shirley, my mother-in-law, was at his side. Now she's with us for a while.
