seattle's a nice city. i've visited a couple of times, and the weather is generally what you would expect from the pacific northwest. people were friendly. warning though; the city of seattle has a population of less than a million... when you add in outlying areas like redmond etc. it goes up to over three million, but seattle itself feels a bit small as a city.
A "small town" feel is not at all a bad thing. I've found that I really don't like the bigger city vibe I get from Melbourne, and Sydney was even worse.
I want to see hills and water again. Despite being on the coast I never feel it while living here. Also we know some people in the Seattle area so would have a bit of support. Not looking for any change right away, but I need a goal.
