Library Expedition

Becky and I went by the public library last weekend for the first time, and it is a very nice (brand new) building.  I was surprised to find two Jack Chalker books that I'd never even heard of, much less seen, before.  The Ninety Trillion Fausts and Dancers in the Dark.  I will most likely end up checking out both of them in the next few months, ( Read more... )

DANCERS IN THE DARK is just DANCERS IN THE AFTERGLOW and a related story (if memory serves), so you may have already read the bulk of it. I can get you a copies of stuff you haven't read (and a bibiliography of what he wrote, so you can check what you have or haven't read) if you like.

I was sort of depressed not to see anything he wrote at the bookshop at Union Station last week when I missed the train to Dorsey and had to wait for the next one.

I've only read two of his books (I never see the same book twice, either). I got The Moreau Factor from a bookstore (I think it was in Canada), and Midnight at the Well of Souls from a second-hand bookstore in Canada some time later.

At the least, it shows he has/had readers in Canada.
