I'm taking a business trip to Zone 7 tomorrow in my capacity as a high-flying jetset engineer. I shall be in Geneva (that's in Switzerland). My mobile telephone, if it works at all, will be diverted to voicemail to save me racking a huge bill from incoming calls. Everywhere outside London is Zone 7.

I'd have figured that everywhere outside London but in mainland Britain would be Zone 7, and everywhere overseas would be Zone 8.

Or maybe even, England would be Zone 7. Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland would be Zone 8. Rest of Europe would be Zone 9 and Rest of World would be Zone 10.
