Isn't it amazing how we take some things in life for granted, we see them as a right rather than the privilege they are. The flicking of a switch to get light and heat or the turning of a tap to get water. It takes a lot to make me see clearly just how lucky and privileged we are. Suffice to say it was a pretty large thing that made me realise that

I have always been a little eco-warrior like when it comes to resources.

After experiencing a water cut last year, I am even more determined to watch the households water and power usage.

I think the energy companies shot themselves in the foot with the huge price increases too, I know many people who are much more mindful of light switches being left on etc.
