does anyone know if Sam Elliott is ill as well?  Because If I were the families of Patrick Swayze and Jeff Healy,  and Sam Elliott comes down with some form of cancer as well, Id be wondering what the hell was going on on the set of Roadhouse

Except I believe Jeff had cancer when he was young... it was what caused his blindness. The news reports mentioned that he had fought it all his life.
