One of the Red Bird of Paradise plants I planted ten months ago has finally bloomed! One other plant is budding, but the other four haven't budded or bloomed yet.

A basketball court was recently built in the common area next to my house. A few kids are using it, but many kids still play in the street, creating a traffic hazard.

Sounds to me like it'll be good. Maybe throw in a splash of fish sauce and some fresh mint leaves, too.

How did it turn out?

Green onion, garlic, some brown sugar and some fish sauce are good in Thai curry.

I haven't gotten the ingredients together yet since I have been so busy. I will probably try this during the 4th of July weekend. Thanks for the suggestions.

The last time I made a Thai curry it was with pork and string beans and it turned out good. I used it as a spaghetti sauce.
