holy fuck! i can help out. guess i will be burning Pink Flag back to you. i have some of these and i'll get them to you. or i'll get you an i tunes gift certificate or something. i need to figure out how to do this because i don't download or use my computer for music at all but, whatever. we'll figure it out.

Aw, thanks so much. Don't worry about the iTunes thing though. Seriously. I'll figure it out. Also, I just checked and fortunately I still have Pink Flag on my iPod so I think I can just grab it from there.

is this a common issue with maxtor hard drives?

i have a couple of handfuls of those albums, i'll see if i can whip up an mp3 cd or three..

Hmm, I don't know if it's common or not, I'm just pissed off because I barely had the thing for a year. That seems awfully shitty to me.

That'd be great if you could send some stuff. Be sure to tell me some fun stuff I could send in return.

Thank so much. Maybe let me know before you burn anything because I realize now that I have some of the newer stuff on my iPod and should be able to steal some of those albums back...

Thanks so much. There's a slight chance I might be able to get some of the stuff back without going through a data recovery center but I'm not betting on it. I'll know more in a day or two.
