Oh no! Poor Seb! On the plus side, at least he gets a ride to Tantervale... on the minus side, he's all sorts of injured...

Woke up at just the right time, I'd say!!

Heh, I didn't think about the positives! He does get a ride to Tantervale - the last 40 or so miles anyway.

You just woke up? I'm just now off to bed. Glad I could start your day off with a little depression! :P But never fear - I do believe the Maker is actually on his side.

he leave for the enemy's territory alone, and didn't send the news for weeks. Shouldn't she worry or anything?

A couple of things: he wasn't going into enemy territory. He was using a well-traveled road between two of the major cities of the Free Marches, on his way to visit an old family friend. Also, not that much time has really passed. It's only been, roughly, two weeks between the time he left and the time that Leandra and Hawke speak.

Even if Sebastian went to Tantervale, stayed only a single day, then turned around and came back, it would take about a week and a half. And we know that he will be gone "weeks, at the least" because that's what Sebastian told the Grand Cleric. So basically, not enough time has passed for Hawke to be worried beyond the concern anyone would naturally have for a loved one traveling alone.

I can see where the confusion comes in, since I wrote the later events first, then backtracked to Sebastian's trip. Hope that answers your question.

Hum, perhaps I just read it incorrectly. My bad, I think.

No worries :)

I'd rather have someone ask a question than not understand and be disappointed in the story as a result. Thanks for taking the time!
