looking at all my options

so I am getting REALLY annoyed with my job now. I have been at the same one for 3 and a half years, and that's pretty good for most people my age I think. But lately I feel like I'm not appreciated and I can't seem to get through to anyone what my needs are as far as hours requested and the like ( Read more... )

Dont respond to headhunter on monster.

The way they work, is that they get a cut of your overall salary. sure, you're more likely to get a job, but it'll pay less (20% on average).

so is "headhunter" a company that searches for people? I have gotten calls from "ksource" or something similar. I'd rather be contacted by an acutal prospective employer not an agency working for them... do they offer that? I'm new to this.

yeah, sometimes you'll get contacted directly by a company, but more often than not, you'll be contacted by a headhunter.

just be careful on who you 'agree' to let use your information.

*hugs* I would just put my resume out there and see what happens. Maybe even try another bank.

It's hard having to have child care and your times aren't set in stone. If she told me that I had to work, I'd be like "sorry..it wasn't here yesterday and I can't change my plans. If I had more of a notice I would." It's not fair that their walking all over you.

yeah, I am. I am thinking I'm gonna go down to Scripps and take a look at Geico. I don't really like their insurance company, but they ARE hiring tellers with a great shift of 7am-4pm.... way better than up here!!!
