the other day i watched the 10th year anniversary special for the show 'Inside the Actors Studio' (which is an incredible show for anyone interested in the arts). the interviewer, james lipton, asks each one of his guests "If there is a God, what would you hope that he would say to you if you get to the pearly gates?" which i think is an

i've just moved back to the US after three years in Britain with my wife, don't worry, we moved here together, and i stumbled upon "Inside The Actors' Studio" yesterday and was intrigued. seems like a fantastic, unique show.

a friend has also recommended Food Networks' (or whatever) "The Iron Chef". crazy show, that one, though very entertaining.

if God says to me anything along the lines of, "Well done, good and faithful servant" ...

'inside the actors studio' really is an interesting show. the reason i watch it is for these almost rare, but powerful and very intimate moments that take place with very public people in front of a crowded room. when it happens, it sticks with me for days. i love the honesty that comes from it.

i will have to check out 'the iron chef'. i have heard quite a bit about it and am looking forward to checking it out. thanks for the recommendation.
