Your right, I have years ahead of me, and I know if I don't go now, I'll regret it for the rest of my life.
I think your advice is exactly what I needed to hear. Perhaps your my 'push out the door' :P

i say try on a trip this summer to quell such urges. Thats my plan.

I almost left today actually, On my way home from work I almost just went onto the highway to go off to someplace for a while. I didnt tho :(

I've almost left many times. It's really bad that I walk by two travel agents almost everyday. The only thing that has stopped me is lack of funds.

You need to get out of the city, or find someone who understands you.

Failing that. Try taking a course, or something in the city, until you can save up enough to get out. That way you can at least be happy here.

I do need to get out of the city. Really bad. Everyone around me is going on trips and I would give anything to be with them on the plane right now.

I've got two trips coming - two and three weeks from now. Nothing too exciting, Regina and Montreal. The good point - totally paid for by someone else.

My advice? (Seeing how you are soliciting) Finish school, THEN have fun. I agree with some others that you can always "grow up" later on, but finishing school later on really, really sucks. Its pretty easy to say "take a chance" when its someone you don't know - and that's mostly what you'll hear on this site.

And if you don't finish school, you will take a lot of choices away from yourself.
Finish school, then have fun. They don't pay me to travel and put me up in high end hotels because I'm uneducated...

You need to do whatever your heart desires.

Although sometimes it's so hard to make a decision.

The way i make my decisions, is i come up wtih an idea that seems okay, and then well i just stick to it. I won't know if it's right or wrong until it happens.

As for school, i think it's better to travel after you are done it. Allowing for you more opportunity whever you go. But then again, i never had enough patients to stay in school for 4 years...
