I don't know. Initally he felt bad for letting me pay for things. He gradually became accustomed to it and I suppose he started taking it for granted.

I doubt it will come as a surprise to him. He's a good boy, I'm not worried about talking about it. I just hate having financial issues become a problem so early in a relationship. We'll see.

Ewwww... boy have I been there! Ryan did this and one day I made it perfectly clear that I wasn't busting my balls so he could get stoned with his friends all day. Luckily he got it together and is now a textbook manager and on salary!

If dude cares enough he will pitch in, if not...consider yourself lucky!

Money comes and goes. If he wasn't around, you'd still have to pay all the rent, bills, food, etc... It would be sad if you broke up with someone you really liked just because of money. If you don't like him, that's another issue.

Hey, congrats on becoming an "adult"! You've always seemed well suited for just that.

I wouldn't break up with him for that. I'm just not ready to live with a boyfriend, not yet.
